On this, the last day of Women's History Month, I'd like to share this quote from Abigail Adams:
"If particular care and attention is not paid to the ladies, we are determinded to foment a rebellion and will not hold ourselves bound by any laws in which we have no voice or representation."
During this month, I've added the following women (and men) bloggers to the blogroll, I hope you check them out, I highly recommend them: Big Brass Blog Bitch. PH.d. Black Looks Blogs By Women Cool Beans Culture Cat Democracy is Messy Dogged Blog feministe media girl Pam's House Blend Preemptive Karma Shakespear's Sister The Hackenblog The Heretik The Sideshow I also suggest visiting Elayne to see which women bloggers she's added to her roll this month. Finally, just because today is the last day of Women's History month does not mean women don't continue to work towards educating others in all areas from the environment to sexuality to living free; we continue trying to change, for the better, regressive governments that continue to treat women as property or second class citizens. Women everywhere, everyday are striving to be better human beings, to teach their children, their sisters, that they too have rights, inalienable rights that no government or human being can take away.
