Was this "lone gunman" targeting women, was he tageting jews, or was he targeting the organization the women belonged to, that was pro-Israel? No matter what, his actions are deplorable.
One woman was killed and five others were hospitalized Friday after a man who allegedly declared he was "angry with Israel" opened fire at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle building.
But I also can't help wondering what drove this gunman? What were the motivating factors?
Very generally, I think a growing number of people are feeling conflicted over the violence in the middle east, and the perceived control (real or unreal) Israel has over our goverment. I'm not condoning any consipracy theory of Israeli control, or any Zionist movements, for that matter. What I'm trying to say, probably indelicately, is that when you put all these ideas together into one pot and stir it up, it can have the effect of creating individual actions such as the above.
